Self Love-2

My definition of self love -working towards maintaining a great body and increasing my knowledge to always have the awesome feeling of growing and learning new things. Also, appreciating art, literature and philosophy to keep on stimulating the creative side. Travel to explore and learn more about our surroundings. These are the all important things in life according to me which increase self esteem and in turn self love!

Any exercise routine can get boring after a while. It needs constant reinvention and setting of new goals! Well my lastest exercise routine includes cycling and I am loving it as I am sweating it out and at the same time getting an oppurtunity to click some amazing ones!

Here are some of those...

A cowhand in traditional attire,  herding his cattle through concrete jungles

In search of green pastures which are rapidly disappearing as a  new township emerges.

I love to read as there always something interesting to learn from books. My latest read,  Aleph by Paulo Coelho. In this book Coelho describes the interesting fact about Chinese bamboo trees. Once the seed has been sown, you see nothing for about five years, apart from a tiny shoot. All the growth takes place underground, where a complex root system reaching upward and outward is being established. Then, at the end of the fifth year, the bamboo suddenly shoots up to a height of twenty-five meters.

This is so interesting and applicable to all of us isn't it? When ever we take part in a new venture success is gaureented as long the base work is strong and has been worked on carefully.

I hope you enjoyed reading about it as much as I did.

And lastly my 2 penny's worth about the Oscar winning movies. I loved loved loved 'Grand Budapest Hotel'. It's such an amazing movie! A brilliant comedy with a great story line. I feel that the director,Wes Anderson, did an absolutely wonderful job and I have a new favourite in him as comedy is my favourite genre in movies. Must watch,  if you haven't already seen it.

Others that I liked were Wiplash and Birdman for its story and depth,  Gone Girl for its suspense and Interstellar for its science fiction theme!

I love to see the similarity in our countries dear. One will find the same sort of places and people in Pakistan.

I haven't caught that movie you mentioned. Although comedies are nice, somehow I prefer films with a deeper meaning in life.

Reading gives us insights about life and so I believe we all ought to read more. Coelho is one of my favorites too. As for movies, I saw Whiplash and Birdman. I plan to see the GBH soon as I love Dev Patel's work. Great photos!

I love reading a lot. This is the reason my knowledge on so many things has increased, no much time for watching movies.

That is a nice inspiration about the bamboo seed and how it grows. Beautiful. Glad to see all your top five movies are in my top 10 list of 2014.

We all have the same sentiments the way our place is changing into a modern and more civilize atmosphere. But need to adapt and love what is happening around us.

Learning to appreciate and grow oneself is really important in our development. We should continue to reassess ourselves.

Love the power behind this message. We are nothing if we do not learn to accept and love ourselves :)

A lovely post and love the bamboo analogy! So very true - it is frustrating when you are waiting for your bamboo to take root though! Sim x

Self-love for me is self respect and working on the improvement of yourself as a person both physically and spiritually. It is important to be motivated to change for the better.

I have heard of the bamboo story before, it's indeed motivational. Good to remind ourselves of it when we're stuck in a tough period.

Self-loving is very important. You need to love yourself in order to make many other things work.

We tend to forget to love ourselves sometimes. Before we love someone we should ourselves first

I haven't finished reading ALEPH. What's important is we should LOVE everything we do to keep us motivated and be PATIENT too coz we will reap out rewards in due time for sure.
