NH7 Weekender

The NH7 Weekender,  organized on 29 and 30th of November 2014 at Budh Circuit Noida (close the India's capital city, Delhi)  was a very successful Music festival with some of India's finest bands playing live.

The ground at Budh circuit came alive with 6 stages where in the likes of Raghu Dixit, Indian Ocean, Goldspot and Amit Trivedi played live.

The shows which clearly stood out were that of Raghu Dixit who had exceptionally well choreographed dancers in addition to fine music and songs.

The band Indian Ocean had the crowds swooning to beautiful tracks composed by them.

Soft tunes by the band Goldspot

The grand finale of the 2 day event - brilliant show by Amit Trivedi
The atmosphere at the event was electrifying and a number of food stalls and games had been organized to keep the audience entertained.

Although this was the second such event organized at the Budh Circuit,  it got a packed house and crowd in hordes! A huge success!

I've never been in a concert apart from school concerts. I just find the tickets too pricey to hear just a few songs from bands participating the event. I guess I'm just not the rocker/concert gal type. But looking at your photos, it seemed like a great event a you enjoyed. :)

Nice post, reminds me of two things. First thing is that I haven't been in a concert for so long which i missed and second of how much I wanna visit India <3

I also like rock concerts, but I would rather have them indoors than outdoors. My wife and I went to a Beyonce concert that was oversold. We can hardly move. It was terrible. Great you had a good time.

I used to enjoy these types of events, but recently, when I joined, even with the loudest cry and screams of the crowd, I got bored. HAha Am I ageing so fast? haha well, I guess I am already beyond this stage of leisure activity. :-)

I love your sharing of the concert. You made me feel like I was there watching and enjoying the entertainment. I didn't see too many young women in your shots. Were there just a few females at the concert?

I have heard a few tracks of the band Indian Ocean because an Indian friend listens to their songs, I must admit they are pretty good. It seems that music festival was an awesome event!
