Ever since I remember watching TV , I remember having admired advertisements so much! Advertisements create an impactfull story in the shortest time possible and an enormous amount of talent and innovativeness is required to make an advertisement a winner. A salute to all those Ad Gurus!
So coming to the topic of this post i.e., the recent Jockey advertisements to hit TV screens which come with a tag line ' Jockey or nothing'! These set of new advertisement urge you to settle only for the best in everything! No compromise anywhere! To do whatever it takes, work as hard as possible, give it all you got until until you achieve the peak of what you aim for!
I was hugely impressed with these one minute blockbusters because in a short time they send a very important message which is to strive for excellence. At times we give up too soon or we feel we don't have it in us when all the while it is only about keeping faith in your abilities and working through the difficult waters. Nothing is impossible...It just takes time, focus and an undying spirit!
So when they show a dancer in those adds who won't stop practicing till he has mastered all the moves or the drummer who won't stop beating the drums till she has perfected all the beats, it just inspires me so much! Love them adds!
After all to achieve something exceptional you have to stretch your boundaries!

Very true; no one has to settle for what they don't want. If you get that from an ad for undies or a spiritual lesson, it's all good.
I haven't seen those commercials :-( I agree with your statement that Commercials convey an impactful message
I think massive and aggressive advertising is the only way to get you noticed. Now matter how great your product is, it would stay JUST an unknown option, unless it is advertised. Ingenious ads about the Jockey by the way!
We don't have that ad campaign in our country, but it is very catchy. The statement itself is provocative, but the message is very positive.
:) Tim OCallaghan. ..They might be Ads for undies but the message they pass on is very spiritual!
Rane... u must see the Ads... They can be accessed from youtube!
I couldn't agree more, Vanessa and fyhmd :)
Haven't seen these commercials, not sure if they are showing in Oz. Unfortunately I am one of those people that tend to switch off as soon as the ads come on... unless they are very catchy and clever !
Totally cool and powerful commercial! I love good ones that makes me stop and feeling empowered
lol at "six pack or laid back" hahahahaha interesting ads!
I love these ads! They are really popular in India. But I wish they created a customized one for every country. Some of the things mentioned are hardly relevant in my country.
Advertiser think that true advertisement is to reach people to understand fully the truer concept of the product.
I love ads that tap into your spirit to send their message. If you can become emotionally attached they have got you!
Oh I haven't seen this ads here in our country. Advertising your product is a great way for your offer to get noticed.
Jockey or nothing is a really great campaign. It elevates the brand to a need by the user.
I don't think this is in my country. Never heard of this advertising.
A very catchy advertisement tag line. Hope to see that commercial. BTW, Jockey is my brand when it comes to briefs.
There are some advertizement that can have a really profound effect on us. Sadly mostly it is not very well made. These seem to be a good solid campaign.
My aunt used to sell Jockey products and I remember how delighted I am when she gave me a Jockey shirt.
I have not seen the commercial but I love the message that they want to promote. No to mediocrity. Like the expression "stay away from easy".
I like ads with good message and some of the ads company doesn't make good ads
I haven't seen the jockey ads. If the underlying message is about empowerment, then, I'm there to try.
